Google Analytic and Urchin

Last time we heard about Google had bought Urchin. Urchin used to be a very good traffic analysis software. Now google offer it for its google account users for free. Anyone with a Google account can register it for free.

The great thing about Google Analytic:

• Free, of course
• Sophisticated of analysis
• Easy to use
• Integrated with Adwords
• Multi-lingua
• Large log space

Although the free version of Google Analytic is limited to 5 million pageviews a month but I think it is more than enough for a moderate traffic's website. However an active Adwords account's user will have unlimited pageviews.

Last time I was using statcounter for my websites which provides very small log space (250,000 pageloads per month). Now, I had switched to Google Analytic ... What about other users with free account (and probably with paid account)? I think they will switch to Google Analytic too. Then, what will happen to statcounter and other websites that provide same service? hmm...
