Employed again…
After 2 years being unemployed or so call self-employed, I'm now employed again... haha. This is due to I need better cash flow for my financial planning - investment, buying properties and etc.
After 2 months of working in the new, giant company, I feel it is not that tough (in terms of technical skills needed) if compare to my ex-company. That's mean I can do more things simultaneously and more relax. Also thanks to "tough training" from previous company.
How long I will work in this giant company? I don't have any idea yet... I may quit when I achieve my financial goal earlier $$$$$.. :)
Jung Won – Korea BBQ Restaurant Near Jalan Ampang
I went to a Korea BBQ Restaurant last weekend for dinner. It is a restaurant with nice and comfortable environment. Some of the staffs there are from Korea. They write in Korean and speak mandarin.

It is a great place for couple and group of people to gather there and to have dinner. There are a lot of Korea style dishes and also B.B.Q dishes. If you have more than 2 people, I think it is great to have B.B.Q. there.
Here are some of the photos taken in the restaurant.

The restaurant is located near Jalan Ampang, somewhere behind Sayfol International. Below is the map of the restaurant:

Happy New Year 2010
A cup of coffee; a cold, silent night; a warm call; a few SMS new year greetings; Aaron Kwok concerts at Astro; some fireworks outside ... here start another year.
Happy New Year 2010!
Goodbye 2009, Welcome 2010
Another day, it will be the first day of 2010 and today will be the last day of 2009. This post will also be the last post in 2009 in my personal blog. :)
Talking about achievement, have you achieve what you want to achieve in year 2009? I think I only achieved 50% of what I want to achieve in 2009.
One of the things that I wanted to achieve but failed to do so was to bring my business on track so that it can be auto pilot.
The business itself is not a failure but it had made a lot of unwanted expenses. I think it is the failure on the management side which it depends on how we manage the available resource to produce the best outcome.
I hope in 2010, my business' management team will perform better, increase revenue and reduce expenses and move the business on the fast track.
Other than that, for personal finance, I hope myself can increase my net worth for additional 20% by the end of next year. It can be any type of incomes or assets that increase my net worth: businesses, online, stock investments and etc.
I have no bad debt now but I wish to have at least a good debt (a debt that helps you get better ROI) by next year.
There are a lot of things I wish to have by next year. That's gonna be a long long list which I will not list them out here. The main things will be a property for myself and another one probably for my family; and some gadgets that help me do better (financially or business).
Ok, it is sleepy now.
Here end the post for year 2009. See you next year and have a happy holiday!
Too Many Dinners
There were too many events this year end in December... I went to 3 wedding dinners, one wedding party (pre-wedding dinner) and one Christmas eve dinners. Wow, these gonna make me fatter because I ate quite a lot in the dinners.
I think this phenomena will continue to next year's February then only I can start keep fit. phew...
Happy Christmas
Happy Christmas to everyone!
My friends and I were having a steamboat session just now at Sunway's Tasy Pot Steamboat Buffet. Although we didn't go for the countdown at Sunway Pyramid, but it was a great time and we enjoyed chit chat session at another mamak stall.
Good night and have a Merry Christmas!

Streamyx Super Upgrade Deals
Recently, Streamyx is having a promotion where you can enjoy free upgrade for your Streamyx to a higher speed for the first 4 months and the fifth month you will just need to pay additional RM5 per month on your current subscription.

I have just upgraded my Streamyx 512kbps package to 1Mbps package via the online upgrade. The whole hassle free process only takes two day to be done.
I have just tested my Streamyx speed via a few free online broadband speed test websites. I can get more than 1.5Mbps from neighbor countries and about 1.0Mbps from US servers. I'm quite satisfy with the performance at this moment. Hopefully the broadband service can maintain good in future.
So, will you choose to upgrade or cut now? Well I still prefer the stable one than the portable one.
Happy Birthday
Yesterday was my birthday. Thanks to my friends who send me birthday greetings. I received more greetings from Facebook than SMS or phone calling. The world is changing. Facebook is now the more useful tool to connect each other.
Replace Identification Card
I went to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara today early morning to replace my identification card (Kad Pengenalan) at Petaling Jaya. Maybe I went there earlier, so the whole process only took less than 15 minutes.
The process is pretty simple, go to ticket counter and say you want to do a card replacement and take a number, no need to fill in any form if you doesn't need to change the details on the card. Wait until the number to be called, pay Rm10 processing fees. Then wait again to be called for taking photo.
After that, wait for about 10 days to check for the status online via JPN website, via SMS or call them. That's it.
