A few days ago, Writely.com has been acquired by Google.
Writely.com is a free web word processor where you can share/edit/store your documents online. All you need is just a browser.
The service is free but they have closed the registration until they have move Writely to Google. Anyway, you still submit your e-mail address and they will send you an email when the registration opens back up!
