I have just registered to Twitter and find that it is interesting to have. I know this application has been launch since long time ago just because I haven’t had time to play with it yet and I was busying with works and travels.
Twitter is a web application for anyone to communicate and and stay connected. You can subscribe to your friends’ updates and so do your friends can subscribe to yours.
You can make your updates through the Twitter web site, from SMS, from iPod and also using desktop application. Your update message can be very simple as “I’m eating yummy Durian”.
Twhirl is the desktop software I’m using to update my status at Twitter and also to read others’ updates easily. You also can use Twhirl to upload a picture and post a message to Twitter with a message about the picture you have uploaded.
If you have a blog or web site with feed, you can use TwitterFeed to feed your blog to Twitter.

I find that it is fun especially when I can make my updates from my mobile phone. My mobile phone does not has a WiFi so I need to make my updates using SMS and it charges my phone bill with international rate for SMS. It is much better if I do not need to pay for sending the SMS :)
