Travian – A browser based MMOG

Was damm boring yesterday … the whole day did nothing … while surfing on some online game sites, suddently I recall one of my friend introduced a game called Travian (www.travian.com). Without thinking much, I registered the game and was playing with it.

Travian is a browser based MMOG (Massively Multiplayer Online Game). It is a web based strategy game. This type of is most suitable for those who want to play light game but don’t want to stay in front of computer for hours. To play this game, you must be patient because everything in this game need time.. like build a building, upgrade, attack…. and etc.

In travian, you can compete with thousands of other players by taking control of a small village and leading your people to glory and victory. You can choose between three tribes in Travian, Romans, Gauls and Teutons. Each tribe has got its own advantages and disadvantages and their troop types are very different.

I chose Gauls because most of my friends are using Romans. First time play with this type of game and found it quite interesting. Each time you want to create a building, upgrade resource or any other thing… you need to consider the resource will be used and time to do it… it’s just like a real life game, you need to think of which one should do first and which one you shouldn’t. Well, I’ not an expert in this game and still exploring…

If you want to play this game and would like to join me, you can register at www.travian.com and I’m at server 4.
