Wordpress 2.0 Trackback
There is a problem when I have upgraded wordpress from version 1.5.2 to 2.0. The trackback does not work! Everytime I write a new post I need to manually send trackback to blogtal.com and petalingstreet.org.
Anyway, AhKnight has a quick workaround for the trackback bug in Wordpress 2.0. You need update the ‘to_ping’ field in ‘wp-post’ database table to a zero length empty string.

Something else that doesn’t work: Your RSS stream! I think you have a problem with your .htaccess configuration. It is showing entries like Wordpress 2.0 Trackback. I’m getting 404 page errors when trying to load it.

When I first heard the WP2 is going to be released, I really wanted to upgrade it as soon as possible. However, by the time I’m free enough to upgrade it, all I heard is BUG! I’m really in doubt now. There’s even people who downgrades back to 1.5 after facing too many bug. I’m really disappointed.

gbyeow: I think it is my fault. After I made the post… I updated my .htaccess.. now fixed already :)

Word Press 2.0 Trackback fix revisit…
